The Vols are one of six schools to make the final cut for Class of 2015 five-star center Skal Labissiere from Evangelical Christian School in Ridgely, Tennessee.
The six schools he tweeted out in alphabetical order: Baylor, Georgetown, Kentucky, Memphis, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Labissiere measures 6-foot-10 and weighs 198 pounds. He’s a consensus five-star prospect who is considered the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee, a top-five player at his position, and a top-fifteen player overall.
Labissiere has said he might consider playing overseas rather than going the traditional college route. “Overseas is an option,” he said. “I don’t know yet for sure. We’ll see. But that is a lot of money.”
