Tennessee received a basketball commitment from 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward Eric McKnight on Monday afternoon. McKnight averaged 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game lat year at Florida Gulf Coast. He will have one year of eligibility remaining and will be available for the upcoming 2013-14 season. McKnight still intends to visit Knoxville this week, according to Rob Lewis. McKnight said it was a “childhood dream” of his to play for Tennessee. He was rated 3-stars by ESPN out of high school in the 2010 class.
