Emmit Gooden decommits from Tennessee

Class of 2016 4-star defensive end Emmit Gooden decided to decommit from Tennessee on Tuesday night. “Just want to take the time to thank all the Tennessee coaching staff for all they have done for me it’s been a good one,” Gooden tweeted. “Exploring all future possibilities #recruiting #longprocess.”

Gooden told Paul Fortenberry he has received interest from Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, USC, Auburn, among others, but will ‘absolutely’ continue to consider the Vols. Gooden originally committed to Tennessee on February 15th of this year during a junior days trip.
