I sincerely hope that nothing but good things happen for JG, nothing but good things. He picked the UT over OSU, which for him might have been a severe miscalculation, given th mess here at he time. Now, with hopefully, competent coaching, he may straighten up and fly right. So unlike some, who will laugh and even mock the idea that JG will turn out to be a surprisingly serviceable NFL QB at least, I hope he does that and more.

Any idea if that's gonna be broadcasted?
I may have to see if I can at least listen in on XM

If nothing else you have to respect JG for all the serious beatings that he took and still got back up and tried to play.

People like to say that someone is as tough as a nail but sometimes JG made a nail look wimpy.

I hope he gets his chance and does really well.

If he does well then everyone will love it if it gets mentioned on TV that he played at Tennessee.

VFL...GBO!!!

Sounds like he and Trace McSorley are battling for the #3 spot. Kingsbury’s comments lead me to believe he’s really high on McSorley and more “wait and see” on JG.

I will never understand the hate that JG gets here.

It's not his fault that Pruitt trotted him out there even though he never should have and it is Butch's fault that he took the beatings early in his time here.

I honestly think that it is all in his head and that he is most likely a much better QB than he showed on the field, but his confidence was shot with all the big hits he took early.

In a nutshell, I blame both Butch and Pruitt for his issues and JG is just a victim of circumstances and got way too much hate for it.

He never plays at tOSU. Even if they pass on adding Haskins in the same class, Burrow was on the roster.

Every single coaching staff he played for in college was fired.

Umm, and uh, I guess JG in a UT dorm basement manufactured the Rona, infected the nation, and brainwashed the Washington State coach to refuse to follow WSU policy and get vaccinated. Yep, must be JG's fault that coach got fired. Just as it was JG's fault the Pruittian regime got fired for trying to Bama-ize the UT program. That darn JG is no doubt guilty, no doubt he prompted Putin to invade Ukraine, darn bassard.

I respect the kid for giving his all. He seems like a great young man.

However, I’ll be shocked if he even plays a snap in an NFL game unless they’re swarmed with injuries at the QB position.

He’s just not a very good QB at this level.

He was well marketed and well branded - had a decent arm, has always been and will always be a subpar qb. No cut on him, he might make a great banker, lawyer, wide receiver, outside linebacker, I don't know but he misses the mark as a smart qb that makes good fundamental decisions and moves the offense. In playing two hand touch backyard football he would play qb the first couple of times and then the kids would move him to receiver or center because his decisions are poor and his timing is off - his delivery is too slow and he has no pocket feel.
What is crazy is that he actually played here and that we even won a couple of games with him at qb. Case of coaching malpractice. The coaching wasn't great but he was AWFUL or DREADFUL or both take your pick.

I’m aware of the situation Woodsman. What I did say was a fact though. Didn’t say he was the reason. Try to relax, I’m rooting for him .

If he makes it at that level our former coaching staff will look even worse, which frankly, should be impossible at this point.
He will do the same thing he did here, and at Washington st. . He simply cannot process information fast enough to play quarterback. The cardinals will figure this out in the near future…
