Zero False Starts. People if you’re gonna

Spot on. It makes no sense to me why a crappy seat costs $400. So instead of profiting maybe $150-200 on that ticket plus adding a rabid fan that wants to contribute to “home field advantage,” instead the seats are 80% full of primarily “older / wealthy” folks that hardly get off their asses, let alone make a ton of noise. The noise in these games should be deafening almost nonstop.
It was wild and extremely loud in QQ, giving a a few Dog fans a hard time too, but they had the last word😩

sit on your hands in a close ****ing ball game, give your tickets to someone else. Sitting like a deer in headlights looking like a nervous wreck instead of making noise ain’t helping anything. It was loud early but that was short lived. A normal neyland environment and I believe we squeak this one out. I’ll be the first to boast that Neyland is the best home environment in the country by a mile, but today it was a shell of its normal self. Gotta get over your stupid BVS people. Make an impact.
lol… It was one of the loudest crowds I’ve been there for. 4th qtr was nuts.

So basically everybody associated with the VOLS sucked today.. In this spirit, I confess that from my seat at home, I didn't cuss loud enough or throw anything at my TV..

I'm sorry guys, my fandom today was subpar and it's my fault we lost..

Same. We didn’t sit down except for TV time outs. 4th quarter was insanely loud. Reminded me of the Oklahoma 2015 and Alabama game in 22.

It’s weird. From where I sat, I felt like the fans brought it tonight, and I’m usually one complaining about the crowd being lethargic at times.

- It’s that damned club music.
We hardly did V-O-L-S because every dead ball is DJ Sterl blaring dance music.

- They wouldn’t show any replays of the penalties. No one knew how bad any calls really were from 300 feet away. It was nothing but confusion the whole day.

- Mike Keith is two minutes behind the game on the Tennessee Athletics app. That’s how long it took to find out who caused the fumble and who recovered the fumble.

Other SEC stadiums with poorer acoustics have a better coordinated effort. Neyland is either absolutely bonkers or nothing, because there is zero leadership from the PA announcer/ band/ DJ Pearl/ cheerleaders/ replay monitors. They are all competing against one another for attention and us fans are very confused about what’s going on most of the game.

I lost my voice before the 4th quarter, but there was only a couple of instances where most of the stadium was making noise. Many of us got loud at some point during the game, but rarely everyone at once.

Neyland was pretty loud during the first and 4th quarters. Neyland was pretty mundane during the 2’d and 3rd quarters. OT was over with before the fans to ever have a chance to make a difference.

Also, we removed yet more bleachers and replaced them with cubicles for the rich in the offseason.

Charge rich prices, get rich fans.

I think the biggest problem is that we went a good amount of time doing nothing on either side of the ball, but if 400 is the get in price, you probably aren’t getting the rowdiest crowd.

I wasn’t either but by all accounts I’ve heard, really
You weren't there and you're fussy about the crowd noise???

When I hear the crowd on the vol broadcast, I know it is loud. With that said, crowd went library mode in q3 when uga dominated the opening drive.

What if for the biggest game of the season, we sold tickets for $10, to be purchased only on campuses within Tennessee? Would be a great experiment. And if the visitors rack up 10 false starts and lose the game, was it worth the revenue hit?

Not sure what it was yesterday but our fans wasn’t as loud as i expected them to be. There was a few moments in the game it got loud but overall i was a little disappointed. It paled in comparison to the 2015 OU game and 98 Florida game probaly the two loudest games at Neyland i’ve ever attended. On a closing note Tennessee and the university has some of the most beautiful women in the country.
