2016.

Gotta believe.

Defenses win championships. Barnett, Phillips, McKenzie, Tuttle, Bates, Berry x 2, Kirkland, Butcher, Martin, Ford.

Too early to be blabbing? Yep. Do I care? Nope.

Damn it feels good to be back.

I do believe that we have turned the corner. There will be no more losing seasons and there are going to be a lot more Vol flags flying on cars and UT nike gear showing up. I guess we'll have to have a bigger bandwagon soon.

In coaching and life it doesn't matter where you start it's where you finish. A few examples….saban, meyer:)shakehead:) and chip kelly.

The NC trophy looks like it came from a speed shop…..stick shifter, tail pipe extension.

That's okay. I'll still take a few of them to display in our athletic complex. The National Championship title makes it look amazing :)

Some of those guys may not pan out, but from what our D coaches have shown so far, the odds that they do pan out are pretty dang good.

One thing that excites me is just the feeling of reading their names together (definitely no homo). I am talking about that feeling of "oh man, they are going to bring the pain" or "the opposing offense will definitely know they played these guys!"

Honestly, even with AJ coming back this past year and Curt finally healthy, I haven't felt that way in awhile.

I can not tell the future, and like I said, some may not pan out, but the feeling that this D is going to be relentless and terrorizing is definitely there!

Im sorry and no offense but UT isn't back. The coaching, recruiting, and players are there to make it all work, but until UT has better than a 7-6 year they arent back. I'd like UT to be in the best of the best bowl games instead of just relevant in recruiting to say the comeback is completely.

Just my 2 cents IMO TIFWIW.

Best of luck in the next few years, UT should be a scary team no matter what happens.

Well.... honestly you are right! We aren't back! To say so is ridiculous! We are on the right track, the up-swing, on our way...whatever, but no we are not back. But all signs point to us being "Back" soon if things continue to happen the way they have been! No Nega Vol here, I think their lost, just being honest ! IMO

I agree. UT appears to be making the steps/movements in the right direction...but we're not at the point where we should be called "back" yet.
