You know you are going to marry the right girl when she wants to spend part of your honeymoon seeing the vols finally beat the gators. This will be our third game together. Going to Mexico soon after!

We are going to Nashville to eat everything in site then drive to Knoxville. Any recommendations on where to eat or what to do in Nashville?

There must not be many married guys on her or they would give you better advice.

1st.... Never ever even think about getting married during football season

2nd.... Right now and during the first month or two of marriage she will still be the lovable gr that enjoys your likes as well as her own but by month 6 - year 2 she will begin transforming from gf to your wife.

3rd... Right now she thinks spending the honeymoon at Florida and tennessee is a fun idea but by year 2-3 you will be somewhere like pigeon forge picking out nativity scenes at the Christmas place trying to sneak a peek at your phone or hoping a near by stranger will be discussing what's happening with the game...

Do not get married during football season.... It's that date for the rest of your life.

A few things OP....What is your age range and what are yalls interests?

I live in Nashville and would consider myself a "foodie" and being a native, I know the old local joints that aren't "touristy" and have also visited many of the newer trendier establishments.

How long will yall be in Nashville? Few days? Over a weekend?

Without disclosing your entire financial well being....what kind of going out budget do yall have? It would really help to know this because there are really tons of options for all income brackets and many for common man like myself who occassionally dabbles at the high end establishments....

Would really be glad to help with suggestions...and....CONGRATS!

We will be in Nashville for a couple of days(Wednesday and Thursday) before we head to Knoxville for the weekend. We 32 and 31. If the food is worth it, we will pay for it. Steak, bbq and any place with good chicken and waffles are always high on our list. Also some good cocktails and craft beer.

Lol good advise. We have been together for 15 years, and know how important football is to me. We have gone to Knoxville the last two year, plus in Gainesville last year too.
We also go to Vegas Labor Day weekend to watch opening week for college football.

Also this is only part of the trip. Spending 10 days in cabo.

Honeymoon? How could you not visit The Bluebird Cafe. Research it, and see how many country stars got a start there. It's become so popular you have to get your pre-paid tickets reserved online, and that may involve digital queing. But if you get in, you'll always be able to say you did indeed eat at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe and see some of the best unknowns who want to be great in the Nashville country music scene. ... Don't care what the food is, go. ... There's a movie there made with River Phoenix in it.
