i didn't undertand how that would work...do we own some kind of a tiebreaker even though they beat us?? or does he mean win out through the sec tourney...

If UT and LSU finish tied, we'll be co-champions, and we'll both get trophies. Tie-breakers only affect tournament seedings, which obviously is irrelevant when we're in separate divisions.
