Given the recent events concernin Perrilloux. I am left wondering who your pick would be for the Tennessee player that turned out to be the biggest bust. Now it doesnt just have to be a guy that never panned out, but can inculde a guy that had great ability like Perrilloux, but couldnt stay out of trouble. My pick is Brian Darden because I was as hyped about him as I have ever been about a player coming to our program.

Daniel Brooks and Chris Heath come to mind from recently.

Brooks may be bigger because it also involved passing on Patrick Willis.

Jabari "J-Train" Davis is as good a pick as any, I suppose.

... in recent memory, anyway.

I agree, Darden. Seems like ancient history now... My more recent vote would be Daniel Brooks. I was really hoping he'd be the second coming of Al Wilson.

He was, by no means, a bust...but, Kelley Washington's sophomore season was as disappointing as any individual player's season that I can remember in a long time.

Onterrio Smith, Brent Schaffer, and Brooks.

3 great talents that have the combined IQ of a 7 year old!

Florida from 1906 to 1990, and even then with a Tennessee boy.

If you are not going to just have UT players...the biggest State of Tennessee Bust may very well be Patrick Turner at USC or Xavier Crawford from Memphis Trezvent! WASTES OF TALENT!!!!

I could be wrong about the name since it has been 13 years but I believe Maurice Staley was a reciever in the class with Marcus Nash. He was a big time recruit. He went on to steal my credit card and buy a Playstation at Circuit City. I ended up letting the charge stand just because I thought he would be good and I would never disrupt the Nation..... $139 down the drain

OJ Owens is a good one. I hadnt thought of him. I remember watching his high school highlights and he was a headhunter.
