Your pick for "Breakout Offensive Player of the Year" is..

B.J. Coleman. His leadership and knack for the game will show under the new staff (as he was obviously shunned by the old staff). I think he will see some good playing time come fall.

He was "obviously shunned"? I don't think so.

I hope the kid does great things but he didn't play because he showed less abilitiy in practice than the other two guys. You could argue they didn't have anything to lose and should have played him anyway... but he was not "obviously shunned".

One question guys and girls..

Whos gonna return Kicks and punts?

Nuke and Green?

Your thoughts...

Depends on whether we get Bryce Brown or not. I could definitely see him returning kicks. He has all the moves and can take it to the house at any given time. If we don't get him, I would say Nuke and maybe Teague. Maybe Berry???? (Not sure about that)

I'm getting so tired of people thinking that BB will come here and change the O. Creer can do most of the things BB can do. So let's stop thinking that this O depends on one recruit. We got a couple of good backs so let's just ride the two of them this year.

You continually make it hard not to be critical of players I really like.

Brown is faster than Creer and has better cutting ability. He's also bigger now than Creer was as a recruit and as big and strong as he is now.

He may have other issues but Brown is an absolute top shelf talent.

We threw a deep ball last year? Oh yeah, the one that went for about 70 yards in the Kentucky game for a touchdown.....Damn, looks like we should have tried that before the last game of the year!

Anyways i'm with you on this one. I hope he has a breakout season.

Check Northern Illinois and Georgia. Also we had two thrown to AR that Moore would have tracked down(UCLA and Bama).

All I'm saying is that we can win with Creer. Creer has the talent to carry an offense. We can't depend on players that we may not get.

I like Denarius Moore he is a kinda 'under the radar guy' with surprising speed. He might be the guy to stretch the field in big games. Secondly, I think that Nick Stephens will be the one to beat at QB. He sees the field better than Crompton and if he get's confidence to make the plays and don't have to worry about capt. Hook, we might actually win alot of games. :p

I like Creer, too--and would love to have seen more of him last year.

If we move the chains, totally different concept from last year's offense, we should have plenty of backs getting some runs. I just don't see us blowing people off the line of scrimmage, so I'm hoping we can get close enough to kick FG's. That would be quite an improvement over last season.

Creer can't carry an offense. Very, very good football player but not that good. If he'd ever stayed healthy, Hardesty did once have that kind of potential- 100 meter champ who ran with power. Poor OL play and injuries costs him his career.

You weren't saying anything about getting or depending on BB. You said that Creer could do anything Brown can do. That just isn't true.

BTW, Creer is more than likely a significantly better receiver than Brown at this point.

He can do the same things. Maybe not as good but we won't have to change the scheme with him back there.
