I didn't disagree with you that he held most of the power in the Nets vs. KD dynamic, but if he's not willing to sit then he's giving up his power and I didn't think he was willing to sit.

There were many other factors involved and it became clear that NOP was the only place that was going to put together an acceptable package without gutting its roster and he probably doesn't want to be in New Orleans.
