Agree. U all win this trade, imo. Unlike losing JV for Adams (I know, there's more to that trade, but that kinda makes it worse). Just a big fan of JV, money in the bank on double/doubles until the odds got so bad, it wasn't worth betting.

He's got some of the worst productivity/efficiency stats* I've ever seen, but he's only 21 and the ability is enticing. The D seems OK.

*29% from 3p, 50% from FT, 1.2:1 a/to ratio, 13.6 pp36 and 2.4 ap36.

The Grizzlies have pulled off the rare feat of running over the NBA's 20-player maximum for offseason rosters. Barring another trade before this one is finalized, Memphis will have to waive a player just to complete it because of those 18 plus two players on two-way contracts (Sean McDermott and Killian Tillie) and one more (undrafted rookie Yves Pons) on a training-camp contract.
