Kelly would be the cheapest of the bunch......He's only making $800,000/ year.........We could get him for around 2 million, no questions asked, in fact, we probably could get him for $1.8 million, and in 6 years, pay back all the money we lost with Phil.....

I'm in a funk about it. I know I'm supposed to be patient and mature...but the longer the process goes on the more I think we're gonna get stuck with a choice down the list and left hoping he'll overachieve expectations. I should stay away from message boards until an announcement comes.:)

One other thing MH has to keep in mind and that is CBP and CPS, they have proven their worth. I understand the Lady Vols have a different AD but it could still ruffle some feathers bringing in a unproven coach in the SEC and paying them a big pile of money. It is a fine line MH has to walk and his decision has to make sense on many forefronts. That alone is another reason that Kiffin, Kelly or Leach may not be the direction UT goes.

I agree with the fact we have the money, but whoever it will be their salary will have to be justified and approved. The 3 that I expressed earlier are not worth the money and the risk IMO.

Dude, of course I hope u'r right!! Then we could make Butch Davis our $4 million dollar man........But if history proves correct, and UT continues to underpay the coaches, then we're back to Leach, Kelly, and Kiffin......most likely Kelly......

I mean, I am praying, just like you, for the dream......

I agree........it sucks, but that's what will probalby happen......unless HAMY goes 4 million with B. Davis.....except he turned down Arkansas his alma matter last year, so it's not likely......
