WOW- this could be the team, our talent will have been seasoned by then. That could be the most talented and experienced team we have seen since 07. It'll be the year we've been waiting for.

I'm sure I screwed up with some of the positions, I assumed stone gets moved over to center in the future. And I assumed loften gets in.

Agree?

Looks good, but you need to add another WR on offense. Z. Rogers, Dallas, Milton or possibly Arnett...... regardless we will be deep there.

I thought Couch was still very much on the fence.

I see where you are going with this thread. I'm not trying to be a negaVol -- I like the enthusiasm -- but I think you are missing the big picture. It's GREAT that in 2012 we will have quality players at almost every position on the field -- that's an improvement over where we are now (no question). The problem, of course, is that the minute one of those players gets hurt (or has a season ending stinger, ahem), becomes academically ineligible, starts a bar fight, punches his girlfriend, etc., who do we have backing up that position? While we hopefully will have solved some of the talent and experience issues by 2012, depth will remain a HUGE issue.

I doubt depth will remain an issue in 2012. Dooley himself said we will be full strength with two more recruiting classes. Now the quality of that depth remains to be seen.

wilcox still will have issues with getting the right number of guys on the field in 2012, so he will just start scheming to plan for a 9 man defense. problem solved.

I don't keep up with Boise State to the point I'd know that Wilcox had that problem while he was there...

Did he ??

Maybe they should try what we used to do in basketball. The sub going in gave a towel to the player going out. No substitution problems.

No. Not much of an issue for Boise St. This is just residual crap from having too many kids not knowing what to do yet.

I'm okay with playing only 9 on the D. It's better than playing 13.

Lol I didnt put CB cuz I don't really think anyone on the team now will start in two years. Maybe gordon, but if we get a couple blue chippers at DB, you may see more nickels.

Good list but Janzen Jackson won't be here(leaving early for the draft)

Tom Smith will be a factor at RB.
Askew won't be starting over Martaze Jackson and I think Crump will overtake Lathers.
Teague, Gordon, Naz Oliver, Tino Thomas, maybe Derek King will be CBs. I like that group.
