But it would have been way better if Butch did it for them to gain experience in critical situations...not due to injury when you have no choice

The problems all year have been the slow starts plus the turnovers and fumbles that we didn't lose that broke momentum. Hey, we came inches within beating A & M with 7 turnovers and I went back and watched the second half last night and none of the 4 turnovers in second half were forced. Just mistakes on our part. I think the turnover problem is the fact they are trying so hard they momentarily lose focus. Not good but fixable. We are beating Alabama if we don't turn the ball over.

Another fan looking at the team through VOL-colored glasses. If you re-read my note my point was our reserves are not as good as he ones on teams like "Bama. That is a true statement whether you want to believe it or not. We have reserves playing well but their effort is not as good as quality teams get from their bench.
