2-4 weeks with a torn MCL according to Adam Schefter of the NFL network. Several articles on Google.

From what I saw, best thing for the tacks. If Collins plays the whole game, I bet yall beat us worse than you did. Still the Tacks beat us BAD.:eek:hmy:

I am not a big Collins fan by any stretch, but he puts the Titans in a much better position to continue winning ballgames. With that defense, a good veteran who won't give the game away should make them incredibly hard to beat.

You may be right about the blessing in disguise..

They'll run the ball a lot no matter who's at QB... Defense plays like they did today, they'll be in solid shape.

collins is kinda a 50/50 thing though....this is really only one of a few times we've gotten into the endzone with him after entering the red zone. about 80-90% of the times he starts, we end up falling apart with him once we're in the redzone and always only getting field goals (texans game was a huge example of this). In the games he starts, the titans routinely have an even harder time than they already do scoring tds from close to the endzone

still, he played well today (so did scaife really)

How is that any different from when Young starts?

They dpn't get to the red zone when Young starts. The whole Collins thing is true, though I'd rather have him at this point. When he came in they went right doen the field.

You're guaranteed no better than a fg.

Neither of them are great qbs at this point....collins was only 2/2 today w/ a big run by scaife. But what would worry me about him is just that, with him, it's a very repeated trend. It becomes a big worry too when you play a team that you're clearly dominating even with your back up qb yet, out of the 9-10 times you get inside the 20, you only get 2 tds...

vince isnt much better now clearly, but collins has had this more repeated trend of falling apart on drives when they get in the 20 and having to settle for 3.

Course maybe the new rb will change all that around

Interesting article in the Tennesseean. Sounds like the pressures of the NFL are getting to him

Young’s mother says Titans QB needs ‘love and support’

I saw that and while I understand where she is coming from I have to say that he is being paid very well by a business to do his job well and so far he has underperformed. If he cannot take the pressure he would probably do himself good to walk away. If you are not happy in your work you can't expect others to make it better for you.

I must say that I find it a little extreme for our fans to boo him in a game we are winning, especially the first game, I understand it from the fans angle because I too have not been impressed.

I wish Tidwell were still around just to watch Milo give him hell. (I believe that is who used to argue the viability of Young as a NFL QB when I first joined the board)

I do feel bad for Young, but he is paid very highly to play a game.

I wish him well.

If his mommy's opinion is anywhere close to youngs i think we can safetly assume he doesn't have what it takes to be a nfl starter.

It could be me that you remember. I've been on record since Day 1 as saying that Young is a horrible QB.

Correct. On another topic, though, Aaron Rodgers looked really good Monday night.

It was very early in my time here at the Nation, but I do recall you saying that, as well.
