Seeing you guys calling for coaches players to be dismissed is laughable. These players and coaches have put in more blood, sweat and tears for the University of Tennessee than you ever will. Many of the so called fans here are pathetic. Jeremy Banks, Jauan Jennings and Bryce Thompson are my favorite players on this football team. They earned my respect because of the cruel intentions they play the game of football with. I do not understand why you guys want choir boys on your football team. I really hope the team unites over this with an us against the world mentality and takes it to Georgia.

The irony of someone with the handle Lane Train calling out fans for turning their backs on the program is hilarious.

It's as funny as some jackass with the handle Jon Grudens Agent going around acting like he is actually interested in the Vols lol.

I expect this team to finish around 6-6 ,flashback to the florida game , should have been 14-7 Vols a one point. The int in the endzone and the over throw to #4. #2 wet his pants. Lets hope it shapes up, I ain't givin' in. We need a quarterback. We gonna see if they lay down in the future and that will be "tell all".

It is really simple.

People hate Jeremy Pruitt more than they like/support Tennessee Football.

Yet at the end of the day, the Fans are only spectators of a game for entertainment only. Tennessee football doesn't have a life or death, day to day impact on their lives. People acting like they are somehow so invested in Tennessee Football like its a job, but are the real losers.

As an outsider, I can tell you that anyone that still follows this team and still turns on the TV each week has earned "true fan" status and doesn't have to apologize for a thing.

They haven't turned their back on anything.

In all seriousness, there are few fan bases in the country that follow, support, and show up in the numbers that Tennessee folks do considering what you all have been subjected to.

We're undefeated and ranked in the top 10 and couldn't come close to filling up the stadium two weeks ago.

Well that seems to be a nationwide problem. You should have a full house this weekend. That's a big one. People aren't showing up for the lesser games. Probably why there should be lesser games. I actually agree with Saban there. Need to get it down to about two Furman's a year and be done with it.

They were or are your favorite players im confused? How come all your favorite players get in trouble? How is BT your favorite player, he has barely played.

Is there any ground between choir boy and threatening cops?

It's why Florida is starting to schedule OOC games now. A lot of empty seats against the UT-Martin's of the world.

I'm on the Lane Train--all Vol and love CJP as long as he's our coach and I'm pulling for him and Mr. Banks.

The Lane Train has spoken. Embrace the thuggery and we can beat GA State soon!

Barely played? Bryce Thompson was a freshman All American. My favorite players keep getting into trouble because they are a little bit crazy. It shows on the gridiron and that's what I love about them.

This is a silly take. You can't really compare fans to coaches/players. You just can't. It means more to the players/coaches because for a season they're investing more into the program than any fan could ever think of contributing. But, by the same token, the players are here today and gone tomorrow. Some will be loyal to the university the rest of their life, some will not. Few of the coaches will. When Pruitt is finished here, he'll point his car south on I-75 towards the Alabama line, hire an agent to put his house on the market, and never look back. The fans, though, were here before all of this, and they'll be here long after all of this. They're paying hard-earned dollars to buy an over-priced place to park their butt on 18 inches of metal, and to buy over-priced hot dogs and watered-down fountain drinks, so that scholarships can be provided to the players and salaries can be be paid to the coaches. Many of them grew up in East Tennessee and have spent all their lives here, and a lot of them are alumni of the university. They damn sure have earned the right to have an opinion about the program.

You've said you've been a cop for something like 13 years. I am one of the guys who don't talk bad about cops--I greatly appreciate the work you do and the risks you take. It's not easy being a cop in today's environment.

Having said that, you know the difference between a pizzed off college sophomore mouthing off for getting arrested and a legitimate threat.

Okay, never really cared for undisiplined players...their stupid decisions make them unreliable, like BT missing the first few games. My favorites have been players like Reggie White, Eric Berry, Jacob Gilliam, Jason Witten etc.
