I would be in community relations daily working on strategies to fill Neyland Stadium for next years spring game. Don't want to make that mistake twice!!!!!!

It's real simple.
You can be the best at your position in all of high school...

But it won't amount to anything if you don't develop it.
And I'm telling you...the best way to develop is to play in the game itself. Early and often!

That's what Tennessee offers.
We don't need to sit you for a year or two. We want to win NOW. So we need you to play NOW.

13 players on a 4-8 team went to the NFL. You get tons of national attention here. Whether good or bad, Bce people really love us, but most love to hate us.

Oh and there’s that pesky elusive SEC CHAMPIONSHIP and NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP that we’re trying to bring back after 20 years.

Well Pruitt is wanting to recruit players that fit his scheme and what he wants to accomplish. So I would try to compare them to previous players and how I would use them but that they look better than whoever coming out. But hit them with what areas they need to improve on and get very tactical on how you can fix their inept attributes.

Also, you find out what the player values most then kinda ease that as the main selling point. Can't go way overboard or you will sound desperate. In fact, you have to be like "we want you here but take the opportunity to visit these other schools and choose the one you feel most at home with." That tells the recruit that we aren't pressuring them and that we have other options (even if we don't).

I would just flirt with all the moms--tell them if they wanted to see more of me just get their kid to sign with the Vols.
