she seemed pretty nervous for someone who was lip synching.

I wouldn't have thought it but unless you're saying it's the way the speakers were set up, her lips did not always match the sound we heard. Now I'll accept that if it was like that most or all of the time, but it was here and there. And it wouldn't be the first time that it's happened.

I thought it was good, but last year's show was better. And no, he didn't lip sync.

Have to agree there. Prince rippin' that guitar solo of Purple Rain in the rain was amazing.

But I really liked last nights too. I'm watching it again now and I certainly don't see any signs of lip syncing at all. On another note, I would much rather have songs and bands from the past play good music that actually means something at halftime shows. Today's over rated singers and their over hyped songs can stay home as far as I'm concerned.

There is no way in hell Tom Petty wasn't really singing. Someone is just searching for some reason to slam the Super Bowl halftime show yet again. It must be tradition at this point. Janet Jackson showed her gross breast. Paul McCartney is too old. Prince has a guitar that looks like a penis. Now evidently Tom Petty is pulling a Milli Vanilli.

I heard a few years back that people stopped using them because they were popping in people's hands due to overheating or something like that, anyone know if there's any truth to that? Or is it all those anti-tobacco hippies?
