Yahoo Top Ten - Vols love

While I dont agree with the order and I'm not sure I would put TN in the top ten yet, it was good to see us get some love. Srycuse did win ten games last year and upset Miami. I do believe they win at least 8 games this year and will be a quality win by the end of the year. That said what say you.

Syracuse does dodge Clemson & Virginia Tech in the round robin ACC scheduling and I think their next 5 games are at home. It looked like they could possibly be 5 & 1 and then they play on road Notre Dame, UNC, G Tech & Miami so they could see a drop off on backend of their schedule. I do think Syracuse has a quality team. They could finish with anywhere from 6 to 9 wins IMO

espn had Tennessee @ # 8 in it's FPI ranking before syracuse. That was very prophetic to the outcome of the game. That told you to bet on Tennessee.

Actually, the writeups look reasonable. However, we know Tennessee isn't moving from 24 to 4 . I would say Vols to 14-16. Biggest jump I can recall in the AP is 10 spots.

I think they did not rank teams that played FCS or G5 cupcakes.
