Arstechnica has revealed September price drops:

Elite: $399
60gig Pro: $299
Arcade: $199

Obviously not confirmed, but the same folks also broke previous xbox developments well ahead of time including the 20gig price drop, 60gig unit coming out, price drop of HD-DVD add-on to $40 after the format died, the Forza 2/Marvel 2007 holiday bundle, and HDMI on all 360 models.

I'd say it's probably very likely to occur.

Question, if I get a new xbox, what happens with all my memory on my current hard drive? Can I transfer it?

Are you asking about transfer from one 360 drive to another? It is possible to transfer from a 20GB to a 120GB... M$ made a transfer kit.

Sweet, considering that mine is also prone to breaking, I'm buying another for backup. Is there that much difference between the Elite and the Pro??

Yeah, say I buy the 60 GB xbox, can I take my memory from my other hard drive and put it all on to the 60 gig.

Only difference is are the accessories and the paint job. The actual xbox unit is the same across the board.

Yes. Call MS, they send you a free transfer kit and you can migrate everything over. Only pain is transferring your downloaded content and changing the licenses online for those (and re-downloading most, if not all).
