Does the 360 come with a free month of Live? I was told it did, but have never tried it because I've been busy with school and work.

I just saw this stat while watching an E3 video.

XBL has over 6 million members, and is over their goal by a million to date. They have set a 10 million goal for next July.

Also, they get one new member on the average of every 8 seconds!

I'm sure it's not 6 million individual members. A lot of people have multiple accounts. I have two. But if it is individual members then wow.

My name is Chad & I'm a proud member of Xbox Live.

My XBox Live account ran out... I'm getting a PS3 soon and planning on getting the slew of good games coming out for it for a year straight starting next quarter. XBox Live can wait.

I don't have to renew my Live until june of next year.
I don't know why people complain about paying 50$ a year for great service, that's about 14 cents day. It might as well be free.

We also get exclusive DL content. & as Smokey pointed out above. On Demand Video. The only reason I haven't DL anything in a while is becasue my HDD is full.

I need the Elite.

I'm not huge on the movie download part. I personally buy movies to add to my collection, but it's nice to have on a rainy day.

Milo is like the homeless kid standing out in the rain looking in while everyone else is feasting on a great meal. :p

Why? XBox Live is so great that I actually logged maybe 25 hours of gaming during the 15 months that I had it. I'm like the kid looking in through a window to a room where people are eating huge amounts of straight tofu... And wondering what is going on.

If you only logged 25 hours than I say that's not even enough to make an educated judgment. I played that much the first weekend I had mine.

It didn't keep me coming back for more. The other strengths of XBox Live are media downloads, which I can get for free online and then transfer to my TV through the XBox 360 and other mediums. So really, if I don't find the gaming experience to be there, then it's nothin.
