Hey guys,

Recently got an Xbox live account. Anybody play Reach multiplayer?

Also got Minecraft for my 9 y/o son and looking for safe friends for him to play online with...would like to verify some way, this being the Internet and all.

Let me know...

since you just got a gold account, make sure to check the main menu or games section on the 1st and 16th of each month. live is releasing a free game on those dates that run for 2 weeks at a time. right now its Dead Rising 2

Thanks! I noticed it on the 15th and got crackdown. Hate that I missed assissins 2 or whatever. Haven't been overwhelmed with dead rising nor crackdown. I love halo multiplayer (not very good at it, but love it - I'm old and slow I guess) and spent hours playing dynasties on NCAA football before I had kids. Driving and shooters (other than halo) never sucked me in too much. Limited playing time once the kids came along so it was ncaa or halo for me.

Trying to introduce my son to the whole football strategy concept to my son via ncaa...I guess I need to breakdown and get 2014. We were much better in my last version...2006.

Again, thanks for the heads up!

yeah, you need to go ahead and get NCAA 14. EA Sports lost the NCAA and SEC rights, so teams arent guaranteed to be in their next release (if they actually have one)

.
Good luck, unless its a kid you know. Although minecraft seems to be mostly kids, some lowlifes, and Smokey, who's a hybrid of the two.

I can't play it anymore. Liberty has overtaken my Xbox. She has now realized that she can play online with her cousins. But fortunately, it has become a very good leveraging tool.

I need to tell her the new minecraft is my drafting software, and get her to draw my plans for me.

that's the exact reason i gave Mikayla as to why I wouldn't get her Minecraft, i don't want to lose my xbox. she got it on her ipod and is content with playing it that way. if i let her on my xbox she'd be playing it with half of her school all the time.
