Anybody know of any websites with open preorders?

I'm ready to camp overnight at Best Buy if I have to but I'd rather get it in the mail.

Did you get one Milo? My bro had one preordered at Media Play... they called yesterday to confirm and it turned out the package was a core system with PDZ, Kameo, and one other launch game(can't remember which), and two wireless controllers for $600!!! He cancelled... Not worth it, having to go spend another 100 on the HD for gamesaves and backwards compatability.

I got two of them yesterday. Sold one on ebay which more than paid off the one I kept.

Pretty cool. Not many games I'm interested in yet, but PGR3 kept me busy for a few hours last night.

I have 2 more coming in the next couple of weeks from different pre-orders. They will be going on ebay as well with the profits going into my video game saving fund.

I have a question why would you buy a x-box on e-bay when you can go out in the stores and buy a new one for a lower price

Because at the moment, you cannot buy them in stores. Knoxville (everywhere) was sold out before the stores even opened with people waiting overnight. It was the same pretty much everywhere.

I can wait. Microsoft rushed the system release anyhow, I will wait before they work the bugs out first. I have a gut feeling they will be there.

The distribution is so weird, from the release date to saturday (26th), each store recieved only 14, then after that day each store gets 20 a day and 40 a day on an alternating schedule. After new years the sales will be normal, this is to prevent a mass production, or failure.

Yeah, whatever you want to believe. It varied greatly store to store. Some walmarts had more than 50, some less. Targets had anywhere from 10 to 22 (in our area). Best Buy had roughly 50 for sale. EB and Gamestops were getting anywhere between 10 to 30 or 40. No one knows when more are coming but MS has said said to expect weekly shipments.

Yeah, all MS can do is ship them to the retailer, i.e. "Best Buy", "Wal-Mart" ... then those retailers decide how to distribute them to their stores, MS has no control over that.

Well. I made a nice fatty chunk of change today. Waited all night at best buy with my friends, got an XBox 360 in the morning for $400 then turned around and sold it for $1100. B)
