Xbox 360 E 74 error

Got this tonight and was wondering if there was a fix for it, console has 1 red flashing light.

There is but it involves taking the xbox apart, scraping the thermal paste off the heat sink, making the x clamps tighter, and reapplying the thermal paste. There are a few guides out there if you google.

Pretty sure E74 is what the RROD changed to in later machines.

If you are handy with computers, fixing it is relatively easy and pretty much as described above.

Thanks guys, I didn't realize that the one red ring was the same as the error code as the three. I appreciate the help.
