Xavier Lee to Kenny O'neal

If he would have caught the ball in stride he would have been seeing 6pts on the board.

i think he will be ready for the SEC, with a year of experience at a CC and a taste of D-1 football im pretty sure he is ready to compete and contribute in the SEC

Like that guy said, he should have kept looking downfield instead of worrying about who is chasing him.

I heard he tore it up in JUCO. We have a good track record with JUCO's doing big things at UT. Gibril Wilson and Jesse Mahelona just to name a few.

Surely he is SEC ready. He should start right out of the gate.

Oh wait........I guess that all depends on how well he can run block.

we're so bad at WR this year, at this point I don't think the coaches even give a crud if he can run block as long as he can catch and go.

You know who else tore it up in community college? Brent Schaeffer. So, I think coaching will have something to do with the result.

Fortunately, I have some faith in Coach Taylor. :)

Julian Battle?
The one thing that always stands out in my mind about Julian Battle is during the 2001 SECCG against LSU, a pass by Mauck bounced off of Battle's shoulder and he had no clue that the ball was even remotely close to him. Had he picked it off, he would have been able to crawl the 25-30 yards into the endzone.:banghead2:

Except his knee would have been down repeatedly! DUHHHHHHHH :)

oops I thought he left early because he was JUCO. Nvm then. Julian Battle was really good, but I still have nightmares about the pick for six he dropped against
LSU in 2001.

He was a good player for us. He was maybe our best defensive player the following year. Regardless of a dropped pick-6, he didn't lose that game for us. There's plenty of blame to go around. Oddly enough, it seems like Casey Clausen gets his fair share of blame, although he played really well. Our star players were the ones that really dropped the ball (figuratively and literally) in that game.
