Who the hell cares if they are in the dark? The problem is... We are in the dark! 😫😭😢.. I mean.. I absolutely know nothing about this team.. Wait I know how them poor mountaineers feel.. It's bad enough they barley keep their family fed.. But they can't game plan... 😂 But what about me, the arm chair coach fan? It's not fair!

My God I am ready for Saturday!! 🤘
Actually that line is about Jed clampett a famous Tennessee boy

WVU logically will start with a base defense with probably 2-3 quick adjustment choices (guesses) already planned. The staff if logical is aware quick adjustments will need to be made to counter what they haven’t anticipated, question is can their players handle those adjustments effectively? That’s a lotta maybes and ifs to practice for and commit to memory.

My opinion is that Pruitt and coaches have gotten several players ready to play at a high level at almost every position. I think we may have up to 8 at linebacker and at least 8 on the OL. If it turns out that they can all perform at an almost equal level this is going to be bad news for some team in the late third and fourth quarter. Last season we were out of gas by the middle of the third quarter because of depth issues. This season my hope is that we'll have the depth to put fresh players out there in the fourth.

I'm sure they're going to stack the box and force us to beat them through the air.

I "think" you're right. Unfortunately for them Trey Smith is so talented he will crush which ever side of the LOS he plays on, defensively they will not come close to having an answer for Trey Smith IMO. He will put on a clinic, multiple VOL RBs will break long runs off as Trey pushes DLs into LBs, taking out 2 and 3 defenders at a time.

The first game of the season is always a question mark for everyone. Tennessee has done well against OOC opponents in neutral site openers. Last year, the Vols managed to defeat GA Tech. In 2015, UT defeated Bowling Green. In 2012, the Vols defeated NCSU. In 2002, UT dominated Wyoming. Come Saturday, I'm wearing orange, cheering for the Vols, and hoping for a victory.

For everyone who has played the game or coached...Actions Speak Louder Than Words. The trash talk is just that Trash. Keep your poise and kick some WVA Tail! Go Vols!

I think you need to do a little Beverly Hillbilly research. I'm pretty sure the Clampetts were from Arkansas.

Limestone, Tennessee. Them being from Arkansas was a fairly common misconception, though.

Season 9's episode, The Beverly Hillbillies: The Clampetts Meet Robert Audubon Getty Crockett (1971) revealed that the Clampett's hail from Limestone, Tennessee, and not the Ozarks as previously assumed.

My hope is that our linebacker crew can really bring the pain to QB's this season. They are where the improving our record will be determined. They will have to be our playmakers Bituli, Kirkland, Kongbo, Taylor, Sapp, Jordan, Ignont, Johnson, and Bates make it happen guys.

I thought that was a sucker punch to Pruitt and to the Tennessee Vols program.
Ya F$$* the writer for saying that. Really? A dc job is better then coaching at the best place to coach in the nation!! Pruitt will get us beating Bama again, then we’ll see what writers have to say about the Tn job.

I think Tennessee will hit WVU hard and perhaps run the ball well, but may not be able to keep up with the Mountaineers offense. But, a win is very possible.

WV is the most overrated team in the top 25 this year. We have better player by far, (per 247 recruiting rankings) we have a new confident coach who I think will end up being a legend here, and we know exactly what you guys are going to throw at us. It will be a close game because Pruitt doesn’t have HIS players yet. But we still beat you guys come this weekend. Go Vols!!!!
