Wise move by Kamara, Sutton and JRM. They are gonna make some serious bank next year. Good luck to North - thanks for being a Vol!

YESSSSS!! This is going to be the best year. 8 months to go. I feel such a relief after having to deal with all the ups and downs throughout the years but it has all lead up to this point. GO Vols!

Fact is North is much more easily replaced than the other two would be.

Replaced....he barely played! This doesn't necessarily hurt at all sad to say, wish we could have seen what he is capable of but injuries have kept him sidelined, while guys like Preston and Jennings picked up valuable snaps.

I wish him the best of luck and hope he tears it up in the NFL, I think he will flourish at the next level the.

I'm sorry..but North leaving is absurd. The kid passes the eye test...but what the heck has he done in the last two years??? He nursed a "muscular" back injury for 3/4 of this season? If anyone needs to add more to his resume it's him. I wish the kid the best of luck and tons of success...but wow?

Well, if North feels that is what he wants, I wish him luck. However, with what he has been able to show here, his agent might want to have the dates to the CFL draft in mind. I feel whoever is advising him is steering him wrong.

If he can stay healthy, North may be more productive than Justin Hunter, but I will be shocked if he gets anywhere near the second round. His only hope to be drafted is a very impressive combine.

This doesn't seem to be as bound in iron as JRM's tweet yesterday.

A local TV station is reporting that VolQuest.com is reporting that "indications are that Cam Sutton and Alvin Kamara will be back" (that's verbatim).

Let me reiterate: a local channel's sports reporter is passing on an "indication" from a guy at a web site.

No contact with the players involved. No source within the program named. No family contacts, or teammates or classmates or friends mentioned.

I don't mean to sound insulting. I'm just not buying this one yet.

The news on Marquez North, absolutely; we've had TS and LWS both confirm that one.

But the news about Cam and Alvin, though hoped for and, honestly, a bit expected, does not seem solid. Not to me.
