The green jerseys in practice have to go. It's Football, it's a contact sport. Our receivers are soft. They are afraid of getting hurt. Their focus isn't catching the football, it's not getting hit hard.

Our defense is awesome, do we not practice 1st team offense vs. 1st. team defense? If our offense can play with our defense then they can play with anybody.

We don't have playmakers on this team because the coaches refuse to put them in situtations to be successful. Green Jerseys, Hand Clapping by Fulmer on bad plays. Same lame excuses every week. One or two games with stupid mistakes and yeah it's the players not executing, but game after game it becomes a coaching problem. We;ll see what kind of a coach Fulmer really is after this seaseon. Does he make changes and demand excellence from his assistants and players or does he just clap his hands and continue to make excuses? :banghead:

I agree with more scrimmaging in practice instead of running routes. But I think its time to look at benching some wr's who continue to drop passes (brett smith?) and add the tight end, and see if the tight end can catch the ball any better then our wr's.

The other two wr's spots need to go to the 2 guys with the best hands (swain?), and leave them in the game. Same is true for the fullback position, if he cannot catch the ball well or hold on to it, then someone else needs to be given the opportunity to play.

People need to held accountable from the head coach down, and when people dont performm others need to have an opportunity to play. :twocents:
