WR depth is a plus

I got called foolish for saying Small out was a bigger deal than Tillman.
The WRs are playing fantastic. The Vols didnt prove they could run against Pitt and if Jalen was the only healthy running back outside of a FR who fumbled on his 1 play... that would've been even more on Hooker.

I expected to miss Tillman today but Keyton was primetime. Between Keyton, McCoy, and Hyatt, I don't think there was a noticeable difference. That stretchout catch Keyton made was terrific. Hooker has a great chemistry going with that group.

And we still have a stable of horses that didn’t even see the field today.

Does anyone have any inside info as to why that is? I know we wanted our best guys out there today, but this staff talked a lot in the pre-season about rotating 6-7 guys. Holiday and Merrill have done nothing but make plays when they get opportunities. I’d like to see them get more reps

Amazing how we are loaded at one position(WR) but have no one that is reliable at another ( DB)

It's because of the pace and substitutions mostly.

Yeah I’d just like to find more ways to get them involved. I think Holiday is the best athlete on our offense besides Hyatt. We need to find ways to get him the ball. Whether it’s on sweeps or whatever. Maybe we can get up big early against LSU and get them involved

I was saying before that it wouldn't really be a problem. We have good WR's. All of them played great like I knew they would.

We have an elite offensive team have quality at every position. All our problems are on defense and mainly being able to pressure the passer against SEC offensive lines. Hard to say how well we can cover when the QB has so much time to find a target. Hard to keep contain with the time he had yesterday.
