I think our receiving corp will benefit greatly from the coaching change. I think if they do the following:

D.Moore- improve route-running and put on about 7 lbs of muscle without losing any speed.

G. Jones- Stop with the needless shakes and get up field. Also improve his explosiveness and top-end speed. Improve route-running.

Ahmad Paige- Improve consistency and bring it every day on the practice field. Also needs to put on about 10 lbs of muscle. Bring some aggressiveness when going after the jump ball.

Tyler Maples- Make enough plays to get noticed by the new coaching staff. Improve route running and explosiveness. Also be aggressive in going after the ball.

Sorry folks the A. Rogers era has come to an end. Also this is before any recruits get here.

Marlon Brown has alot of fundamentals to learn but should get some playing time as a frosh, just not from day one.

Don't forget Rod Wilkes and EJ Abrams-Ward.

If its okay with Dawson I would like to mention Rod Wilks in the thread. He may get a look with the new staff.

If Dawson doesn't approve of this message please delete it. I want to stay in his good graces. Thank you.

I like Jones as the slot receiver especially if he gets rid of a few stutters. The long run he had was a good example of getting up the field.

great to know we have all this amazing talent sitting the bench. CPF must have really hated his job to not play them

It's obvious. Look at Mr. Moore's numbers. He makes plays he caught a deep ball against Georgia also so it wasn't just Kentucky he went deep against. Also Fulmer was just to loyal to his players for his own good.

I don't understand why we didn't see moor of Moore running the deep post. There's just so much about the offense this year that cause me to scratch my head...just totally disfunctional from the top to the players.

I was asking for it before the season but a lot of posters on here liked Rogers more than Moore so that's what happens.

Too many people are getting hung up on what this or that WR didn't do this year. Guys, the huge majority of that equation has been under center. If this had been Ainge's Sr year Moore would have been talked about as one of the league's more dangerous deep threats in no time. And he's been on the field, IIRC he caught a pass and returned a kick against UCLA last year. That'd be the first game of his true Fr year so let's not get carried away saying he's been buried under a rock or anything.

I soooo want Paige to work out but again, some are way too hung up on his press clippings. He's fast? Big deal, O'Neal could outrun him backwards but couldn't handle the rest of it. Paige has been coming up short in the same kind of areas from what I've heard. Hope he turns it around since I really do like that aforementioned Moore/Paige wide and Jones in the slot idea.*

*Still pretty useless if we can't get some production from the QB position though. A Ferrari with an empty fuel tank still doesn't go anywhere faster than a Pinto.

How can you criticize Moores route running?
Or is that just done because it is convient? He seems to run the fly/skinny post pretty good to me.

I didn't criticize his route running like you think. Every receiver can always work on getting better.

Don't forget Jeron Stokes... I know he is visiting Florida and Michigan, but this guy was our first commit of the year and is the only commit we had who made the Army All American game.

I think Jones needs to take on the Percy Harvin Role and Brandon Warren needs to move to the slot. Because I dont know if ya'll have seen A. Douglas but he is F'N huge, and should be a big contributer next year at the tight end position, not to mention we have stocker and cottam coming back.

Jones isn't that good. Hate to tell you. The only person we have on Harvin's level is Berry and we all know what he plays.

Wilks has moved to SLB. He should fit in pretty well with the Tampa 2.

Hopefully, his hands will improve with new coaching when not being used on special teams.
