This came to me in an email. I thought that I would share.

-----------------------------------------------------

Read the caption below on this first photo ....then look at the second photo

Crash 1.JPG

Look at the picture above, and you can see where this driver broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert, where people are standing on the road, pointing.

The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph, from right to left, when it crashed through the guardrail.

It flipped end-over-end, bounced off and across the culvert outlet, and landed right-side-up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling.

The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were unhurt, except for minor cuts and bruises.

Just outside Flagstaff, AZ on U.S. Hwy 100.

Now, look at the second picture below . . .

That would have sucked if the passenger didn't do a "position awareness check" when he/she got out.

Is it me or does that look fake?

Why on earth would a road straddle a cliff like that?

There are roads by cliffs all over out west. If you didn't build roads near sheer surfaces, many places wouldn't have roads at all.

I find it odd that the rescue workers are right on the edge of the cliff.....that is, initially, why i thought it was a fake.
