Seriously.

We have got to find a way to get the ball into his hands.

I mean he has ran a 4.20 40. Throw him a little screen pass or something and watch him take off.

Throwing him the ball isn't the problem. The problem is him running the routes right and catching the ball when it is thrown to him. The guy is super fast.

no he has not

Well, he has actually recorded a 4.26 but he "claims" to have ran a 4.2 flat. Either way - he can fly.

And no, we didnt get him the ball. He had only 2 catches - one was for 50 yards and a TD.

I mean if he cant run routes then use him as like a Percy Harvin type guy or something dont let his speed and play-making ability go to waste just because he isnt fuly developed as a receiver.

He has about 1/1000th the talent of Percy Harvin. He's just not good at football. We gave him reverses and other things. He couldn't win out a job returning kicks or punts, either. Forget it. He isn't going to do anything special regardless of what your Playstation thinks.

Damn dude clam down. I didnt say he has the talent of Percy Harvin. I said we should use O'neal in a way that UF uses Harvin - meaning line him up in the backfield and let him run by everyone. Just b/c he cant make 7 people miss on a reverse and break it 80 yards doesnt mean he's garbage.

And its an Xbox.

Btw I just checked and O'neal only rushed 2 times - both times were probably a reverse that was well sniffed out or something.

I dont know why you have a grudge againt him.

A guy with 4.2 speed should touch the ball more than 4 times a year. Is that really that debatable?

Justin Gatlin tried out for the Eagles. Apparently they didn't think a faster than O'Neal was worth a spot on their practice squad. There is more to the game than speed. Additionally, he had more than four touches, he just can't seem to keep the ball in his hands.

Everytime we put him in the game he either ran a go route or a reverse and wasnt succesful on any of his touches.

Please, Erik Ainge couldnt hit Jerry Rice on a go route.

And the reverse is one of those plays were its either a huge gain or a loss. Why not just hit him on a quick slant or something?

2 reasons (based on practice reports):

1) he can't run a slant
2) he couldn't catch it if he learned #1

Not sure what the hating on O'neal is all about, but he is definitely a potential playmaker. Somebody is in a bad mood today...

He's fast. So were Jon Wade and Leonard Scott. Neither were playmakers on offense.
