First of all, if you have to make up a statement like, "your love of Smith", then you're a sad individual. Second, your continued fascination with my nuts is indicative of someone who didn't look up the meaning of "perverted" in the dictionary. You can't deny you called me perverted and mentioned my nuts on two separate occasions. Third, you have ABSOLUTELY no understanding of how difficult it might be to negotiate with 32 of the most astute businessmen in the world.

I'm like you in that it doesn't bother me personally what Gruden has said in those emails. My opinion on it being justified he's no longer coaching is a totally different matter. There is absolutely no scenario where an organization can keep him under the circumstances which he created with his opinions. It isn't a result of a recent cultural change. If it happened 25 years ago, he would still be out of his job. I hate it for him because I like him, in that I've liked the guy in his public persona. I don't know him personally so I can't speak to his behavior behind closed doors. Whether you agree or disagree with that take is unknown to me at the moment. Regardless, his employer has every right to evaluate him on his behavior behind closed doors

Just like the story that come out about that woman that worked at a dealership and had a onlyfans. She started posing in her work uniform with the company name and number on it. Once people started calling the number and and asking if she worked there they fired her for making "porn" while wearing the company name. A company will drop you like a hot potato every time if you do something to paint them in a bad light or rock the boat and they fully have that right. Its about money for them, if you endanger that dollar you are toast.

You display all the signs of a battered spouse syndrome. Calling 32 NFL football players astute businessmen is a joke. Stats show a majority will be broke within 5 years of leaving the league. His employer certainly has the right to do so. All for that. I love openness and honesty. It lets me know what kind of an organization they are and it reminds me of why I stopped watching that league years ago.

Do I think Gruden is a racist? No. Is there a victim here? No. Given all that, the response is absurd.

You are claiming Gruden should keep his job and that there is nothing wrong with the statements he made in his emails because there is no “victim”. In response, I asked you for the record if you’re ok with Gruden’s comments regarding the size of another African American’s lips, and your reply is “where did I say it is ok to make disparaging remarks against people?”

You’re on the side of making negative assumptions about people’s intentions here, not me.

Smith does have big lips. So at this point you’re firing a guy based on his accurate observation and your perceived racial intentions behind those comments.

Btw, if racial and homophobic comments are the bar, the league will need to cancel this weekends games. They wouldn’t have enough eligible players.
