I'm assuming that's an Appalachian State University player and not an Arizona State University player. That sounds like an injury sustained while mowing grass on a hill. There aren't very many hills in the Phoenix/Tempe area.

Yeah, poor guy, but the recovery period they were saying didn't seem terribly long, so hopefully he'll be fine and going again soon
