Did you all see this from a 247 article?
"As for Cam Sutton, he’s already had surgery on his right ankle/foot injury and, as noted before, there was no ligament damage. That’s been huge. The Sutton injury essentially is the same thing as the NFL’s Thomas Rawls of the Seattle Seahawks.
Sutton, per sources here and close to the standout defensive back, is grinding for a return around the Vols’ Nov. 5 home game against Tennessee Tech. That’s his goal; can it become reality? Hard to say. But no one should discount that guy. Pure class and heart."

It's already been mentioned that he could be back with 1-2 games left. If he gets the chance, he'll definitely be back on the field.

I believe that if he thinks that he can help Tennessee win, he will be on the field.

If he can be back by Tech that will be amazing and will be 4 games we can really use him in!

If we could get Sutton, Kirkland and hopefully JRM and can win 1 of these next 2 games we will have a shot at SEC and playoff. I also don't see Sutton returning punts and believe Kamara will keep those duties.

If we're playing in some pretty significant games - sec championship, playoff game - you bet he will be back. That guy has worked so hard to get to play at this level and now that it's a possibility, I don't see why he wouldn't want to be part of it. If he wanted to be in the NFL, he would have left last year.

We'll have Cam and DKjr back for the SEC championship game and playoff.

Hopefully JRM gets some good news as well and can return by the end of the season.

I don't know that we need Sutton back after the Bama game. I'd say let him heal fully and not risk losing him for the SECCG or for the post season.

Would be awesome to have all 3 back! I don't have a good feeling about JRM's injury how butch keeps talking about his "options".

You're always at risk playing football. If he's healed let him play.

I'd love to have him back, but I'd absolutely leave it up to him. He's done enough to earn the VFL sticker ten times over. If you wanna play, then get at it. If you wanna play it safe for the combine and such, we're all behind you there too.

I don't think being back for the TTU game is realistic, even though Cam is a fighter and resilient. Honestly, if he comes back at all this year I will be impressed. Just come back strong for the SEC championship game if we make it and that will be good enough for me. Anything else is icing on the cake.

He needs to play a couple of games before the NFL to show that the injury didn't turn him into Justin Hunter.

Our luck. Last year 1 of our best defensive players got injured and this year probably 3 of our best players on defense is injured.

So, he will definitely be back for the National Championship game in February????????

Kamara's done a pretty decent job of returning punts. I see no reason why he shouldn't continue even if Cam returns.

Really hope the best for Cam, even if it means not coming back soon. It's been a joy to watch him give his all for Tennessee.
