It' Wednesday, aka "hump day". As we all think about clearing the mid-week hump and focusing on the rewards we will allow ourself this weekend for a job well done at whatever it is we each do, let's help the Vols get over the hump of stagnation, apathy and defeatism by advocating Fulmer's firing.

GO VOLS!! FIRE FULMER!! :cheer: :number1:

Wake up and smell the orange-flavored coffee, Freak. I would be happy if Chavis or Cut becomes head coach for now. Just let someone else drive the bus before Fulmer takes us out of the ditch and over the cliff.

What are you talking about? I think maybe you should stop eating paint chips and see the stats. Focusing on one bad season is ridiculous.

Firing a coach after one bad year isn't only not a good idea, it's RETARTED.

YOu realize that with his contract buyout, UT couldn't afford a good coach for years to come? I'll take a chance with a PROVEN fulmer, than just whomever we could afford after spending all our money to fire a winning coach. winning over 75% of the time is what most colleges would beg for.

All you can do is call people names and rattle out the same ole' "one bad season is no reason to fire someone" garbage. Here in the real world one bad day can get you fired. Forget to show up at a meeting, place a purchase order, file a brief, include a certain drug on a patient's prescription, etc. Fulmer did not screw up for one day. He has been screwing up for quite awhile and we are just now finally reaping the rewards. I was ready to fire him in 2000 so as far as I am concerned the grace period is long over. UT has plenty of money and if they hire a someone that people can get entused about the boosters will come through. My biggest problem with Fulmer is that I am 100% convinced that he will never hire anyone who he considers to have a better football mind than he does becasue he is scared that his job will be snaked the same way he snaked it from Majors. If Fulmer had a dynamic, ever changing football philosophy that might be okay, but he does not and we are stuck in this rut.

Trim the fat, NOW! :gril1:

Agreed. Fulmer should not be fired today!
BUT IF HIS STAFF continues to do slide during the season, let HIM go!
IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, SHOULD UT FOOTBALL CONTINUE TO SLIDE DOWN THE PATH HE'S MAPPED OUT!
HE SHOULD GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

: :bad: So are we going to fire the coach everytime he has a bad season. Soon no coach will want to work at Tenn. As far as Fulmer goes. If we have a bad season next year. They should look for replacements.

Anyone can point out mistakes or shortcomings. The smart ones tell you how to fix it and just don't try to tear it down. If you ain't trying you ain't makin' mistakes.

I guess your right. I mean Cutcliff and Chavis both are dullards when it comes to football. I guess neither has a very good football mind.

Hillbilly, put the jug down and step away nice and easy.
