Would you take David Cutcliffe?

You are` no 89 grad. You are the epitome of ignorance,

You are the type of person that should have a baseball bat taken to them daily to knock some sense into your head!!! I am a 89 grad and successful business owner with lots of rental property. Get out of your mom's basement, go eat dinner, and crawl back in your basement for bed. It's close to your bedtime!

Cutcliffe may not even coach 3 more years when Arch will be graduated. And I woudn't expect he'd be super interested in leaving his cushy job at Duke making 2.6 million where his stress level is likely very low and is only expected to win 6-7 games/yr.

You are clueless! He is at Duke where you have to be in the top 1% in GPA coming out of high school as well as top 1% in ACT/SAT score!!!

COLLEGES
Data show Duke is ACC's best in academics, athletics

College athletics have long been a uniting force among a school's alumni and supporters. Thanks to the existence of athletic conferences, regional rivalries have raged on for decades and added a (usually) healthy dose of competitive spirit to athletic contests.
While the battles on the fields of play garner most of the attention, the competition between college rivals knows no bounds. Schools want to gain an edge in just about every endeavor, including what should be the most important aspect of any university: academic achievement.
With this in mind, StartClass looked at the 15 universities of the ACC (including Notre Dame), considering financial affordability, career readiness, admissions selectivity, expert opinion and academic excellence data gathered by the National Center of Education Statistics.

Smart Rating: 97
Average SAT score: 2185
Average ACT score: 32
In a neck-and-neck fight for the top spot, Duke has the slight edge over its conference rivals as the ACC's best academic institution. The school has the lowest acceptance rate (13.4 percent) in the conference and the highest average SAT score (2185).
The Blue Devils are best known athletically for their men's basketball program, which has five national championships, most recently in 2015.

Me thinks you doth protest too much ... it is yee who appears clueless - Cut is a nice albeit - very old guy - who was never a very good recruiter -- even in his prime. He couldn't recruit well when he was here, he couldn't recruit well when he was at Ole Miss - he couldn't recruit
well when he was back here - he couldn't recruit well when he was at Duke. Duke's academics has nothing to do with the fact that for 3 decades he has not been a very good recruiter. There was a time here where they wouldn't even send him recruiting outside of Knoxville. Let's just call him way below average and leave it at that.

They have already told him no, because he wanted to keep his staff intact. Pruitt meeting is in the morning. Expect an announcement around the TN-LSU bball game Saturday.
