I was buying this before tonight's game. Just can't blame this one on lack of talent brought in by previous coaches. Tonight's team was unprepared and showed a total lack of effort. Some of the heads on this team, both players and coaches, should be rolling come tomorrow because they do not belong here. They know who they are

You are not very smart....we have not beaten an experience QB this season. Why? A lack of talent on the LOS and freshman defensive backfield...

Yes we beat one decent QB at Auburn....but that was bad coaching on Auburn's part not ours. They had a major letdown and we out played them... Ky QB sucked. Grier, Tau, Fromm, Shummer, Lock.....Kemp so so lost a close game and Franks youth and self inflicted wounds......

I guess some of you thought we were going to have a miracle season....lol

You know it's hard times when beating a 5 win Vandy team that barely survived 1AA Tennessee State is considered part of a miracle season.

I can accept part of our problem was that we played a lot of young players in the secondary, however, to let Shurmur go 31-35 with me and you in the secondary would be inconceivable. Youth wasn't our problem but lack of effort was. It was obvious these kids wanted to be home for the holidays vs. in Memphis at the Liberty Bowl.

Hell no. No legit SEC player who wants success and a good collegiate career would dare go to Tennessee. Morris, Keaton, Maurer and all those other guys need to run away as quickly as possible to save their college careers.

Why do you think Cade Mays is at UGA? Kevin wasn’t about to let him go over there to that dumpster fire. Can’t say I blame him. This may go on for another 15 years or more.

And we barely beat Charlotte so what's your point....

Vandy grew, They had Florida on the ropes, Ky on the Ropes, and Missouri on the Ropes. Play ND close also....

Think about it if they had play AL and Auburn vs Ole Miss and Arkansas....We would not even be having this discussion....

What recruits would want to come to Tennessee with this program in such a sorry state. Remember we had 2 AD's one from Florida and one from Alabama and you think they were interested in keeping Tennessee's program in a good state. This program has been deterioting for a long time. Being a Tennessee fan for well over 50 years, I don't see the program greeting back to respectability in a long time if ever again. Winning programs attract good athletes and Tennessee is not a winning program. It is sad that a once proud program has gotten to this point!!!! Pruitt is going to have a diffult time getting quality recruits!!!

I'm not sure what that means, if they had to play Alabama and Auburn we'd have probably gotten ran by a 4 win Vandy team. They are bad, very bad, any way you try to shake it or justify it. Very very bad and should never ever be used as any kind of standard for UT football success, nor should beating them ever be considered a miracle win. They and Kentucky are who gets coaches fired at UT.

I do think Pruitt needs to get rid of some players to cut out this loser mentality like the cancer it is.
