This is sort of a rhetorical quesiton, but has been on my mind. Do you think UT would have still lost to Wyoming if Hamilton had waited till after the game to fire Fulmer?

Basicly how much do you think firing Fulmer the week before the game, affected the outcome of the game?

What about the offense looked any different from the games before Fulmer resigned?

no. its obvious that they had given up as a team. it was almost inevitable after that kind of news.

Yes, it was worse.

UT's offensive stats against USCe

QBs- 15/32 for 173 yards, 0 TDS, 1 INT

RBs- 28 carries for 34 yards, 1 TD, longest run of 8 yards

Total points scored- 6

UT's offensive stats against Wyoming:

QBs- 14/36 for 118 yds, 1 TD, 2 INTs

RBs- 31 carries for 101 yds, 0 TDs, longest run of 23 yards.

Please explain how the Wyoming loss looked worse than the USCe loss.

UT wins a rematch under whatever alternative circumstances presented.

We can't truly be worse than Wyoming.

There are a bunch of delusional people on this board. Repeat after me. The 2008 UT Vols DO suck that badly. We DID lose to Wyoming, and we WOULD do it again.

I also see that many of you plan to carry on Fulmer's fine tradition of making excuses for terrible play and incompetence even in his absence.

Two words to help with your recovery: selective recall.:)

Because we LOST TO WYOMING!!! A freakin mediocre Wyoming squad beat us in NEYLAND STADIUM ON HOMECOMING.

Not a legit answer at all. We lost the game because our offense played as bad as it has all season

And that's how I won a $30 gift card for a local Italian restaurant from a radio station contest based on point spread games. Tennessee was favored by 26 and I knew that was a joke. I was hoping for a field goal or td win but the Vols couldn't even win the game.
