Yeah I’m not for sure CJP would consider that but JJ is in NO position to say yes or no. I suspect (strongly) any other response to anything team wise other than “what ever you need me to do coach” will be frowned on.

If he could have attended Spring Practice, He might have seen some time at Safety. But he did not go through Spring Practice so no way he plays safety.

I’ve always said that he was the best safety on the team, but given the needs on offense I doubt they’d ever consider moving him now, but boy if they did, I think he would be an all SEC type safety! Dude has mad skills for defense!!

IIRC, he was recruited by most other schools as a safety, came here for the tryout at quarterback, before ending up at WR. From what I remember back then, he was thought of as an elite, pro bowl type talent at safety, while just a very good receiver. He has aggression, which gets him into bad penalties during games. Would love to see that intensity roaming the field laying wood to opposing receivers.

Let him do like Carl Pickens, play both ways.

JJ would bust some heads on D.

But we need to find ways to get the ball in his hands.
