Vandy is a glorified high school stadium. It's only redeeming quality is that is in a fun city.

Whoever wrote that has never been to some of those stadiums. The Alamodome and the Liberty Bowl are both fine, though not terribly special. Seems like they just picked MAC schools out of a bag, because I've been to both Akron and Miami and both places are completely inoffensive.

That said, Vanderbilt Stadium sucks hard.

Any list that doesn't include OU's Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium is not complete.

Last time we played at Vandy, I swore I'd never go back.
Impressions:
  • It was cold that night and the metal seats sucked every bit of warmth out of my body via my rear end. (note, not Vandy's fault).
  • The Foghorn thing really got on my nerves. Probably payback for all those years of Rocky Top
  • Fans seemed cordial until they started winning. Then they got right down hostile. Someone told me to get my A$$ back to Rocky Top. I was being polite too.
  • Now.. about the stadium. Ever notice that cheerleaders for both teams cheer into a wall? Reminds me of the band in steered into the alley in "Animal House".
