"Big Yellow Taxi" regardless of who's singing it, is one of the worst songs ever.

Pretty freaking terrible, but it's not really any different from any other country song.

Gilbert O' Sullivan's Alone Again(Naturally)

Hearing this song is like having some signal that induces a bezerker rage in Wolverine...it makes me want to kill something it's so horrific. It's an older song so a younger audience might not know of it. If you've not heard it...DON'T! This song is aural ebola.

"Hey, you there" by Soulja Boy would make Tupac cry if he were here. It's embarrassingly terrible. "Red Solo Cup" was meant to be funny, but I think Soulja Boy is seriously that dreadful.

I really don't understand all the hate for "New" Country. Sure, if I want to hear some good country I stay off the radio. New Country too me is a whole new genre that I enjoy at times. I like where some of the songs lyrics take me mentally. "Hop in the truck and get all tangled up", my "first time" was in the front seat of a truck, that was before trucks had back seats. "Tattoos on this town", takes me back to my hometown and my vision of the good ole days. The list goes on. Some of the new stuff sucks no doubt.

Red Solo Cup. If I'm listening to Conway, Merle, Hank etc and that song comes on.....I'll expose my pair of vegetables and throw my glass at the stereo. But, when I'm having drinks out next to the fire pit with some friends and neighbors (drinking beer from solo cups) waiting for the pizza guy to show up, and that song comes on and everyone starts laughing......it Made for a good memory.

Worst song ever? There are a few....Achy Breaky Heart, I write the songs and that Banana song "this shat is bananas b.a.n.a.n.a.s" all come to mind.

Not even the worst "Country" song of the last 5 years. That new song "Camouflage" by Brad Paisley is mind-numbingly dumb.

The sense of humor must be above me, then.

Basically anything played on top-40 or country radio is a candidate for worst ever. Even most classic rock stations manage to always play the worst songs by great bands.
