Worst Loss Ever?

Since this thread is about football, I would say no.

There are teams that are better than the vols and duke was better in those two years. I would not call a Duke win this season an upset if we were to play them. They did beat Vandy and we dont have snowball chance in hell winning at vandy

I know its not a worst all time, but at the time the UCLA game this year was pretty rough.

I was there and that was a long ride back from Memphis.

I live in Memphis. I was 15. Both of my parents went to Memphis and took me to the game, and my Dad NEVER went to Memphis football games. That was a long ride from the Liberty Bowl to my house. Did I mention my 2 best friends in high school were Memphis fans. I thought I'd never hear the end of 21-17. I still haven't.

Oh and the guy that made that return, I will never utter his name, was a gym/health teacher at my high school. My sister had him for gym. She like me was a big UT fan. She said there were several "You were down" arguments in that class.
