Calm down...we don't know what has been done behind the scenes. It's been strangely quiet today.

There are rumors of the boosters meeting last night. Seriously, as far as we know it all may be under control. It's far from time to be flipping out.

It WILL get worse before it gets better, which was why so many people tried to keep supporting the coaches and praying for a turnaround.

But at this point at least we have closure and know it's gonna happen. We just have to really really really really hope we get it exactly right this time.

If not this program as we know and remember it will be a distant memory.

The program is at a crossroads. If we get it wrong again we could very well turn into Kentucky.

Everybody should chill for now. They really have to the end of the week to remove Butch and hire an interim.

If Currie wants to be a bad@$$, he should announce the firing on Thursday and an interim HC to finish the season. Then, name Chip Kelly on Friday to start recruiting staff and players now, while starting on-field coaching duties in 18.

Whether you want Kelly or not, and I am on the fence, this would be a bad@$$ move.

While I would love to believe that narrative, I am more believing of the fact that nothing is being done except for Currie hoping Butch can squeeze out some wins to get us to a bowl and delay his more.

But I would love to believe that something is being done. I just actually believe that nothing is being done.

This is likely the truth given CBJ now tweeting/RT'g players who are committed. Hard to imagine he would be doing this all the while in discussions about his buyout.

What difference does a top recruiting class make if you can't develop it and win with it. Don't let that class of verbal commits keep you from doing what's right for the program imo.

...and you should wait for Hubbs to confirm that Mays is opening up his recruitment before doing the big freak out... or is too late for that?

And with everything going on today (Las Vegas) the Admin might have felt it wasn't a good day to announce something like that.
