Blue font? I certainly hope so. It was reported on sports animal and from Butch that he was full go. To me that trumps a guy that has been wrong on Hurd more than once.

Hurd was in the UGA game on their last KO to us before the Hail Mary.....looked fine running and threw a block....

Something bogus about what we're being told, but we really don't need to know every detail of it.

We need him in the line-up and to run the ball for us to have a chance to beat aTm--and that's all there is to it...

Sitting him for most of the 2nd half should've been discipline enough if Jones wanted to make his point....

But who knows????

I think we're a lot of people are confused is when did the injury happen? Did the coaches put Jalen back in with a concussion, after he was blindsided? Or did the injury happen later in the game?

please....for the love of all that is football....let this go.

Hurd is a warrior....he plays with reckless abandond every damn play. He typically carries 2 or 4 dudes just about every run.

He made a simple error, that will not likely happen again. I'll take him every day and twice on Saturday compared to 98% of the other backs in CFB.

RBs fumble every game, every year....give the dude a break, he's a stud and giving his all for our VOLS!!!

I assume the concussion-like symptoms was from the hit he took on the non-chalent play he made on the what would have been a TD catch? He did get rocked pretty hard on that play.

Dude slow your roll. Pretty obvious you have a thing for hating on Hurd. He didnt show boat, he slowed up. No dancing or skipping. He slowed up. He will learn a lesson and thank goodness it didn't hurt us. Back off the kid though.

Not hating on him! Have you not seen there's different stories on what's going on? And yes he simply got a hot head and thought he would be a baddass, if you don't believe that then you have problems! And for even though he's one of our best I hope the deal is he got benched to teach him a lesson that crap like that loses games like we almost did! But thank God we had a miracle play to pull it out. Oh and fyi I don't have to back off anyone or anything. Last I checked its a public forum for opinions

I'm glad he is a ba, watch the language or I'll report you btw. One day you can move out mom's place and talk like a big boy. I hope a Coach doesn't have to sit a kid in a crucial game to teach a lesson, but if it does Im glad people like you celebrate a kid getting it stuck to him. You have no idea and I don't either. When I do I will form an opinion. Otherwise, let's see what comes of this.

Nobody knows what happened--but it wasn't the lower body extremity BS that Jones fed the media, that's for sure.

It was reported during game the coach held him out for no injury. And yes, if thats the case I'm glad we dont meyer them. However, when we had multiple stories, I'd rather wait and see. However, I'm not glad a Coach has to do this nor do I celebrate it like you seem to be doing.

I never believed that nor do I believe its concussion issues because of all the involvement till games end even the celebration of win. Also never had his helmet pulled and that would have Ben protocol if he had concussion signs.That's all I've been trying to say there's more to it that CBJ and Vol74 stories.

Watching some of y'all on here makes me wonder how I can be younger than most everyone here and yet still not fight like teenage girls. We love the same team, we love the same players. No one hates Hurd, yes he messed up, yes he's still a beast and everyone makes mistakes. Stop going at each other's throats.

Hurd made a mistake. Some people need to let it go. It was one bad play, and the positive is he won't ever do it again. Let it go! He has giving his all for the Vols, and battled more for tough yards than any Rb in the nation. Came to UT as a 5 star when we down. Never wavered on his commitment. Dude is all time great in my eyes, and we will greatly miss him next yr when he is gone!
