Women's NCAA Tourney question

Why was #1 seed Duke playing #9 seed Michigan St. at MSU's arena, and why was #3 seed Louisville playing #6 seed LSU at LSU's arena? That pretty much makes no sense.

So basically....the system is stupid.

I don't get it, the article acts like there was nothing they could do about it, but even if the sites are predetermined, can you not make sure Michigan St. isn't in the region that might end up on their home court? I mean this year alone they have had it happen about 5 times, you're telling me they couldn't seed teams better than that?

Stupid.

The Women's tourney needs complete rework. when L.A. draws 1,200 fans for the first round, they have real problems.
