With The Mentality Of "we Can Win" Vols Will Take Game Hands Down.

I believe in this team, i see the predict the record at the end of the season.......14-0, i believe our players our good enough and and if played 100% every game, like they should be wearing that orange jersey. This team will knock out everybody this year. Our offense is clicking, yeah our defense was doing great untill a couple minor injuries(i say minor to be optimistic) But i believe our guys will step-up and show everyone what TENNESSEE FOOTBALL is really about. Ive always had faith in this team, but something inside me is telling me this is OUR YEAR. I believe florida will be a good game but we are winning by 2 touchdowns, our defense is coming out with a fury and OUR offense is going to continue to produce. i cant wait to hear what yall have to say lol im sure im going to get alot of "your crazy" in say that "ITS GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER" Whoever is going to FLORIDA game cheer like its going to be last game in NEYLAND:rock2:

cause no one from the SEC is going undefeated this year.

What are we going to do if the Gators also have the "We can win mentality"? I think the universe might self-implode.

The year we won the NC in 98 had some weird events just like the barely beating of AF. Remember the Ark game that year and the famous qb fumble. Some NC years are just a lot of lucky events in a row. You never know. Just keep cheering for the Vols. Afterall, its football time in Tennessee!!!!!!

I understand your enthusiasm. It is really good to feel good about Volunteer football again.

Here are two random observations that my roommate (an Auburn fan) and I made earlier today:

1) These two games (UT/UF and AUB/LSU) are likely to decide the SEC Championship game. Yes I know that is discounting Georgia, but I think we have their number this year.

2) It is very possible that one of the winners of those same games (in other words, the winner of the SECCG) will be playing in the national title game in Phoenix.

If you'dve said in 98 after the syracuse game that we'd go undefeated and win the NT the conservatives would just roll their eyes and smile. Because most times it is true that the truth is somewhere in the middle, extremists are rarely proven right ....but hasn't it been scientifically proven that lightning has just as much chance of striking in the same place as anywhere else? If the Volunteers play 1 game at a time, 1 1st down at a time....it is possible.

I think 10 and 2 will end up being our record this year. I believe we will win the East.

Next year we make our NC run.
