We'll probabely drop down to #7...had a great chance at a top 4 seed :bash:

I'd say a 7 seed....had we won 2 games we'd be a 5 seed and had we made it to the championship game we'd be a 3 or 4

I'll say a 6-seed...but I'm optimistic that our non-conference schedule will help us out, so maybe a 5-seed.

I thought I heard one of the announcers say a 5 seed.I know that seems high.

we could still get a 5 or 6 seed depending how things go in other tourneys. but 7 looms pretty large. i was hoping to avoid a 2nd round matchup with a 1 or 2, but now i just hope we are in the 2nd round. that was a tough loss.

i highly doubt a 10 loss team will be a 5 seed....if any team could it would be the media darlings Duke

5 or 6.

I'm worried about the first round matchup. I think we can beat the 3 or 4 team in round 2 if we can make it - and I don't even know who that would be against. But the first round is the scary one.

Crap - now we have to wait until Sunday.

I think 5 or 6 depending on how things fall.

I hate to be like this, but does it really matter? I think that Tennessee is one and done in the tournament given their road play.

yeah, with us getting a 2 seed last year, we have a chance at a 5 or 6 seed....

would like to stay out of the 5-12 match up and the 7-1 match up in the second round.....

yeah, it will be hard for them to make a significant run in the tournament...with how they play on the road and the freshmen...next year is our year for sure

Come on now Mopey. We aren't going to get rid of these Tourney demons overnight but it will happen in time. I think we could win one game but who knows at this point.

It crossed my mind tonight that we out work everyone during the regular season but most teams play hard in the tourney. It kind of negates our advantage.

You silenced my thunder. Was gonna say, unless we can get a tournament first round site in TBA we have some big time problems.

I would say hold the car to Negative Town... but I'm already there, too.

Miracles are possible I suppose, but at the very least this young group will get a taste of the big dance this season.

Just got back from the game tonight. Valentine and crew did a nice job robbing us. Horrible officiating ... but hopefully a good lesson for our freshman big men - that they can get away with more in the paint during tourney time because the refs sit on the whistle a lot.

Hope Brady sends Valentine a gift in the mail.

matchup is definately more important than seed.

Totally agree - 6 or 7 seed is fine.

LSU on paper should be the West winner. They hit 18 foot jumpers and 80+% freethrows.

We could go out Rd 1 or make the Elite 8 depending on the matchup - seeding in this tourney field is somewhat irrelevant.
