With Harbaugh headed to Michigan...

Does this effect us in anyway, recruiting or anything else? He is a big name, but with Kirkland Jr already wrapped up, I can't really see much to worry about. What do you guys think?

Probably Kirkland's solid commitment is our only potential concern. We'll see just how wrapped up he really is. I think Cherry de-committed because he came aboard. My thoughts are CBJ's ahead of the cue ball on this one, and all on his staff, and maybe K Mac, are making sure to keep him on board. No doubt we'll find out, shortly. I wouldn't mind watching Urban's suckeyes getting beat regularly by UM (or anyone else).

Reports from multiple sources has this as a done deal, and expect an announcement on Monday more likely. And yea I think CBJ probably has a head start on this. I'd love it it Ohcryo State lost every year...

Moved to around the NCAA shortly. We don't give a damn about any Michiganders, we're from Tennessee.

you got to hand it to Michigan if its true. they got tired of sucking and opened up the checkbook and got their Gruden type coach.

Got to hand it to Michigan. They are serious about getting back to being a powerhouse and willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

I'd be surprised if it impacted us for this class.

Remember that Harbaugh still has to coach an NFL game tomorrow. By the time he's hired and puts together a staff, it will probably be mid-January. Recruiting is a relationship business and Harbaugh won't have more than a few weeks to spend with most of the top recruits.

The only recruit we have that has been seriously recruited by Michigan was Kirkland. Kirkland is an EE and seems unlikely he would suddenly de-commit in order to potentially join a team with a coaching staff he knows nothing about yet.

In 2016 and beyond however, wouldn't be surprised to see Harbaugh competing with Saban for top classes.

As of now, it effects jack nothing. A signature is not in ink yet. Just because "unnamed sources" says it does not make it so.

ESPN shows nothing about it - after that Vols to Liberty Bowl 'for sure' crap you are right, nothing until he is signed and announced at UM.
